HubSpot’s 2026 was all about AI agents. Its flagship event, renamed UNBOUND (formerly INBOUND), ran in Boston in September, alongside the Fall 2026 Spotlight. Here are the updates that matter most for teams running sales and service on HubSpot.

Agent Hub and Agent Builder

Announced in July as a public beta for Professional and Enterprise, Agent Hub is one place to see, activate and monitor the agents you run. Agent Builder is a single canvas for building custom agents and workflows: you can describe a task in plain language, and triggers include schedules, record updates, webhooks and integrations.

Breeze Assistant, Context Home and a CRM that fills itself in

The Fall 2026 Spotlight introduced:

  • Breeze Assistant, a go-to-market assistant that drafts campaign plans, nurture emails and landing pages
  • Context Home, a place to see and manage what HubSpot knows about your business, which its AI draws on
  • A self-updating CRM that captures calls, emails and meetings automatically

What it means for you: “Context” is the theme. AI in HubSpot works from what is in your CRM, so clean properties, consistent lifecycle stages and complete activity history now pay off twice.

New agents for marketing, sales and service

Several agents launched or expanded, some in public beta:

  • Marketing: Campaign Agent, Content Agent and Nurture Agent, in a rebuilt Marketing Studio
  • Sales: Prospecting Agent, plus Deal Progression, which recommends next steps, drafts follow-ups and updates the CRM
  • Revenue: Revenue Agent, which automates invoice collections and follow-ups
  • Service: Customer Agent, which answers questions across channels and hands off to people, now with voice in public beta

Pay for outcomes, and cap your AI spend

Earlier in the year, HubSpot moved Customer Agent and Prospecting Agent to outcome-based pricing: you pay when the agent completes the task. In October it announced more flexible AI pricing: spend controls on by default, swapping seats for credits mid-contract, monthly credit packs or pay-as-you-go, and a commitment not to auto-upgrade plans because usage grows.

Revenue Hub, and changes for developers

Commerce Hub is now Revenue Hub, covering quotes, contracts, subscriptions, invoices and payments, connected to the CRM. On the developer side, APIs are now versioned by date, with releases each March and September, and HubSpot has announced the end of support for its older v1–v3 APIs, with enforcement planned for September 2027.

What it means for you: if you rely on custom integrations, check which API versions they use and plan upgrades well before the deadline.

What we would do now

  1. Clean up your CRM data first. Agents act on what they find there.
  2. Turn on spend caps before switching on new agents.
  3. Pilot one agent where reading is the bottleneck, such as handling inbound replies, with a person reviewing what matters.
  4. Audit your integrations for legacy API versions.
